About the Role

IoT Product Management & Solutioning Department, where you'll take the lead in understanding our end-to-end IoT products. Beyond traditional product management, you'll shape the customer experience from requirement gathering to solution rollout. This role is perfect for a strategic thinker passionate about IoT, project management, product management and cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Product & Project Management

  • Gain an in-depth understanding of Tor's IoT product suite, including gateways, sensors, connectivity modules, and software platforms.
  • Oversee end-to-end implementation of IoT projects — from device installation and configuration to data integration with the application platform.
  • Plan and manage project timelines, deliverables, and dependencies, ensuring on-time and within-scope completion across multiple customer accounts.
  • Coordinate with engineering, firmware, and software teams to align technical execution with business goals and customer requirements.

2. Customer Deployment & Support

  • Collaborate with field implementation teams to ensure proper installation, configuration, and connectivity of IoT gateways and sensors at client sites.
  • Provide technical guidance to customers during deployment and training phases, ensuring seamless handover and user enablement.
  • Act as a single point of contact for post-deployment technical support, coordinating with internal support teams for issue resolution.

3. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with engineering, QA & sales teams to ensure cohesive execution and smooth feature rollouts.
  • Contribute to documentation, process improvement, and internal alignment for product releases and deployments.
  • Support the creation of demo setups, PoCs, and pilot rollouts for prospective customers.

4. Customer Feedback & Product Iterations

  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to identify pain points, feature requests, and improvement opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the product team to translate field insights into actionable requirements for product enhancement.
  • Track product performance metrics, adoption rates, and user satisfaction to inform future roadmap priorities.

5. Communication & Reporting

  • Provide clear and concise updates on project status, risks, and milestones to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain project trackers, dashboards, and documentation to ensure transparency and accountability.

Basic Qualifications and Skills Required

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering preferably in an electrical engineering.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in IoT, telematics, or connected equipment domain.
  • Basic understanding of IoT protocols (MQTT, Modbus, BLE, CAN, TCP/IP) and data management workflows.
  • Strong analytical skills with an aptitude for translating field data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel or other business solutioning tools like Power BI, Tableau.
