Nihal has industry experience in finance, investments, capital allocation, operations, and strategy. He is an A.B. in Economics from Brown University, USA. Nihal began his career in senior management as Vice President at Kirloskar Pneumatic Company Limited from early 2005 until October 2010, followed by his first stint as Managing Director of Kirloskar Industries Limited (KIL) in October 2010. He took over as the Managing Director of Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited (KOEL) in January 2012.
At KOEL, Nihal’s focus was transforming the business from a family-run organization to a professionally managed company. He was instrumental in hiring professionals in top management positions, setting strategy, managing operations, and capital allocation. In 2014, Nihal was selected by The Economic Times as one of the top 40 CEOs in India under 40.
Nihal founded Tor.ai in 2013. And he has been actively involved in the company ever since.
A seasoned entrepreneur with over 18 years of solid experience in business management and consulting, Rajesh is a Chartered Accountant with profound expertise in driving customer acquisitions, engagements, operations, and key strategies across B2B and B2C environments.
As a Managing Director, he oversees key strategic initiatives at Tor.ai and the company’s marketing, sales, and operations.
Outside of Tor.ai, Rajesh enjoys listening to music in any form and playing tabla. A fitness buff, he loves working out and plays Taekwondo.
Aditya joined us in the year 2017. Before Tor.ai, he was heading the Kirloskar Generator Technologies business for Kirloskar Oil Engines Limited and was instrumental in implementing the IoT roadmap for KOEL Green Gensets. Aditya has over a decade of experience and has worked with L&T and IBM.
At Tor.ai, he heads our IoT operations and plays a vital role in helping our customers build their IoT roadmap smoothly. An Electrical Engineer from Mumbai University and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad, Aditya has also received the IIM A Gold Medal for academic performance.
Outside of Tor.ai, Aditya is an avid reader and enjoys reading fiction, listening to Western music, and watching movies.
Aditya is a mission-driven engineering leader with 16+ years of industry experience managing and growing technology organizations, strong leadership and communication skills, and a deep understanding of all product life cycle stages. He has rich experience building products along with coaching and mentoring tech teams. He is well-versed in product strategy roadmap, development, and execution with high-quality delivery in Cloud-based SaaS enterprise applications.
He has diverse domain knowledge and has worked with various engineering teams of highly skilled engineers/managers, demonstrating complete ownership. Aditya has done B.E. in computer science from PICT, Pune, pursued MTech from IIT Bombay, and started his career as a developer at Sybase, an SAP Company, on database products.
He evolved into a leadership role in Druva Inc, heading their SaaS applications product. As a CTO at Tor.ai, he drives technology for IoT products while demonstrating technical leadership with excellent business acumen that covers various aspects of Products, People, and Processes for engineering.
He enjoys playing various sports, including badminton and football. He is an avid traveler and trekker and occasionally cooks at home. He loves spending his free time with his kids and family.
Rajesh brings with him a relevant industry experience of 25+ years built on success stories with globally leading MNCs as well as successful Indian start-up, with technology driven products and solutions. His sharp business acumen and talent for achieving results in complex, challenging and competitive market environments, makes him a valuable addition to our senior leadership team.
As Chief Business Officer, Rajesh oversees key strategic initiatives at Tor.ai and company’s marketing and sales.
He has done B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from Pune University
Swati Chavare is Senior Vice President at Tor.ai and heads operations, supply chain management, quality, after-sales and service, and project implementations.
She is vital in building customer confidence with high quality and process standards, automation, and timely deliveries. With over 28 years of work experience in organizations like Cummins India, Forbes Marshall, and Thermax Limited, Swati’s strategic approach and risk-mitigating capabilities ensure on-time deliveries irrespective of challenging market situations.
Swati holds a Master’s in Business Administration from S P Jain School of Management.
Rohit is the Vice President of Product Management, leading our Tor product roadmap, go-to-market, and customer engagements. Leading a team of product managers and industry subject matter experts, he plays a crucial role in helping customers and organizations build the IoT landscape and product roadmap.
Rohit has over 12 years of work experience, working with I.T. giants like TCS and Tech-Mahindra on multiple product portfolios to digitize manufacturing and education operations. Rohit holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Mumbai University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
He enjoys listening to and singing Sufi songs and Shayari when not working.
Ashish joined us in 2021 as the Vice President of Strategy & Marketing. He has over nine years of diverse experience in marketing and operations in established companies like SAIL and various startups.
At Tor.ai, Ashish works on all things marketing and branding. He supports Tor’s product roadmap, actively leading our products’ go-to-market strategy while defining and improving the customer journey experience.
Ashish holds a Master’s in Business Administration from IIM Ahmedabad and a Bachelor’s in Metallurgy and Material Science Engineering from NIT Jamshedpur.
Outside of Tor.ai, Ashish is an avid reader and enjoys watching movies and listening to Western music.
Jatin joined us in 2018. He heads IoT Platform Development and handles high-level design choices related to overall system structure, response, and DevOps. As a founding platform architect, he understands the nuances of the process flow and tech solutions mapping.
With a Computer Engineering background, Jatin brings over 15+ years of experience in product design, development, and delivery. In his earlier assignments, he developed a few complex business transaction systems with good exposure to enterprise application integrations.
Before Tor.ai, he contributed significantly as a software architect for the SaaS business, addressing the sales force mobilization and automation based on ToC.
Jatin enjoys new learning platforms besides playing and watching cricket in his free time.
Priyanka joined Tor.ai Limited in June 2021 as the Finance Head with experience in finance and accounting for around 20 years across industries. She is a CA (2003), DISA, with an MBA in Finance.
Her work exposure includes being a guest faculty in NIT(Financial and Cost management), a financial expert consultant to PSU(Mini Ratna) and the BPO industry (client revenue management), a practicing C.A. and an accounting and financial consultant(manufacturing/service industry).
In Tor.ai, she is responsible for streamlining the accounting and reporting process and cost management at the corporate level.
Apart from work, she enjoys walking, jogging, and playing sports.
Anshoo Gaur is the CEO and founder of Praavega Systems, India’s first startup Incubator. Till July 2016, Anshoo was the President and M.D. of Amdocs Ltd: India (NASDAQ: DOX) and an Amdocs’ Global Management member. Before joining Amdocs, he held various leadership roles at EDS/Mphasis and Sabre Inc.
Anshoo has won several awards, including the Bloomberg-UTV CXO IT MNC Business Leaders of the Year Award 2010. He is a regular speaker at various industry forums, organizations, and educational institutes and a founding curator of the World Economic Forum’s Global Shapers Community hub in Pune, India. Anshoo is also actively involved with NASSCOM, CII, IMA, PMA, and SEAP Pune. At Tor.ai, Anshoo plays an advisory role as a Director on the company board.
Anshoo holds a Master’s in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the University of Arizona, Tucson, and a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology, Surathkal, India. A realist to the core, Anshoo believes in building a fact-driven, transparent, objective, and scientific culture to drive innovation.
Mr. Makarand Gadre has 33+ years of extensive experience in Software Design, Architecture, and Engineering. Before Kloudq, he worked with Microsoft and has rich experience developing Word 2.0 (Windows 3.1), Excel 95 to Excel 2007, and various other Office products.
He has also worked with Persistent Systems Limited as Associate Vice President – of Engineering Excellence and has been a Founder Partner of Place Factor, LLC since April 2012 till present.
