DDC Panels
Tor Cooling Tower Panel
A factory-built DDC panel that sits next to your towers. It sets fan speed on the outdoor wet bulb and feeds tower data to the chiller plant in real time.
What it runs
- Cooling tower fan staging and VFD speed control
- Condenser water temperature control against outdoor wet bulb, from a wet bulb sensor mounted at the tower
- Tower isolation valve open/close and status
- Tower data shared with the Chiller Plant Panel so the whole plant is optimised as one system
What's inside
- Tor Cygnus 901 controller and 2 Cygnus 902 I/O expansion modules
- Mean Well 5 V and 24 V DIN-rail power supplies
- Built-in 5 V mini UPS for the controller
- 2-pole 16 A MCB and switched 3-pin service socket
- 10 interposing relays (8× 230 V AC, 2× 24 V DC) on plug-in bases
- Feed-through field terminals
